Project Background
Bangladesh has come a long way since its independence in 1971 and for the most part developed a legal system focusing on human rights protection. The courts have delivered progressive verdicts on issues related to employment rights and secular workplace etc when approached. Notwithstanding the effort, reality is far from satisfactory. Most people do not know or understand the rights they have in everyday life. The Auditiya Community Education Project “আইনেরকথা” aims to fill the gap between existing rights framework and information on the application of such rights by developing a plain language website in Bangla with Legal Rights information. Auditya has partnered with the Farari Foundation in this effort.
